Take control of your enterprise infrastructure migrations; plan, track and schedule with ease using one unified tool

M-Track is a project management tool with unique features ideally suited to managing large, complex, infrastructure migration initiatives and transformations.  It combines scheduling and workflow functions with a database of items to facilitate the management of not just the project work and the resources doing the work but the infrastructure elements in scope as well.

M-Track is tailored to allow users to drive efficient and cost-effective infrastructure migrations and transformations end-to-end.

The 'Overdue Activities' table lists activities, start and end dates, and comments. The 'Active Workflows' table displays workflow names, templates, start and end dates, progress, and status with color-coded labels such as 'Ready to Complete' and 'In Progress'.

Capabilities

M-Track allows a project manager to create and schedule workflows (a sequence of activities) for the streams of work in a project, with different phases in a workflow as required.  Dependencies between activities can be created to govern the sequence of work. Activities can be easily updated by assigned resources to show progress, with colour coding used to highlight late-running work. Dashboards provide project or assignment summaries at a glance.

Large scale infrastructure migrations are challenging to plan, track and manage and general project management tools only do part of the job. Often enterprise infrastructure migrations require multiple tools to plan, track and manage – M-Track solves this problem by combining the planning, scheduling, CMDB data and activity tracking. (I prefer this one to the option).

Traditional tools don’t easily give the entire team clear visibility of the work, and updates have to be communicated through the PM. People and teams involved in migrations struggle to see what's going on and who is doing what. M-Track’s multi-user access browser interface brings the delivery teams and stakeholders in sync.
